Hello World and welcome to Music to Write to. This is a new segment where I reccomend songs that are perfect for when you need some background music while you're working on your latest novel or literary piece. (Feel free to comment what songs you listen to when you write.) There are time when I feel that I need abosolute silence when I am writing. I can't be distracted by anything if I am writing a crucial scene that requires a lot of concentration. But this seldomly happens. Usually, I need background music to create right atmosphere to write in. Today, I would like to share you, my favourite piano pieces to write to when I want a meloncholy atmosphere. Enjoy and tell me what you think in the comments below. Beethoven Sonata No. 8 Op. 13 (Pathetique) This piece is the definition of meloncholy. You can have it playing softly in the background or you can have it loud. But if this piece is new to you, I would suggest playing it very softly so that you're not too distracted.
